What is the Impression pre-set light default?

By default, the light will be set at 100% intensity and 3800 K white color.

This can be changed with the Smartika application or with the light Controller.

What kind of switch does the Impression require?

This fixture is a plug n’ play unit.

This unit includes a 120V power supply. The wire length is about 1.5 meters.

What kind of dimmer switch does the Impression require?

This fixture does not work with a dimmer switch. It is a plug n’ play unit.

This light fixture includes the Smartika SmoothDimmingTM technology; it can be dimmed using the Smartika Light controller or with the free Smartika application for IOS or Android devices.

What is an LED

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor device that emits visible light when an electric current passes through it.

What kind of LED does the Impression fixture require?

The unit has integrated LED and cannot be changed. They have a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

This light fixture includes the Smartika AmbienceShiftTM technology; it can be changed from a warm white to a cool white (2700K to 5000K) using the Smartika Light controller or with the free Smartika application for IOS or Android devices.

Does the Impression LED unit get hot?

High powered lighting LEDs generate light at a much lower running temperatures than the hot filament used in previous generation bulbs. The hottest outside surface of an LED light is often half the temperature of an equivalent brightness Incandescent or Halogen bulb, and around 20% cooler than CFL bulbs.

Can the Impression light fixture be used inside the home and outside of the home?

The Impression light fixture is an interior light only.

Can the Impression light fixture be installed in a semi-cold garage or basement?

Yes, the Impression light fixture can be installed in a semi-cold garage or basement, though it should be away from water sources in order to avoid electrocution.

Note that the fixture is not water proof.

Can the Impression light fixture be installed in a bathroom?

Yes, the Impression light fixture can be plugged in a bathroom, though It should be away from water sources in order to avoid electrocution.

Can the Impression light fixture be installed beside a convector or electric heater?

We do not recommend installing the Impression beside a heater source.

The unit is made of plastic and could be damaged.

Can the Impression light fixture work without the Smartika Application?

Yes, you can use the Impression light fixture by plugging the power supply but you will not have the Smartika SmoothDimmingTM technology or the Smartika AmbienceShift technology without the Smartika Application or the light Controller.

Note: The Impression light fixture does not include an ON/OFF Button.

How many Impression light fixtures can a light controller control?

Smart Mode
One light controller device can control 19 devices within a group using the mobile application.

Conventional Mode
You can control one device at a time with your light Controller.

 

 

In conventional mode, how do I Synchronize the light fixture with the light controller?
  1. Press the sync button on the light fixture. The sync button will flash.
  2. Using a needle or the tip of a paper clip, press the sync button on the light Light controller;
  • The device-light will stop flashing once the device and the light Light controller will be synchronized. 
  • After completed, you can use the Light controller.

NOTE: The sync flashing-light process may take up to one minute.

 

In Smart mode, how do I Synchronize the Hub with the light fixture?
  1. Press the sync button on the Hub. The light of the hub-button will flash while synchronizing.
  2. Press the sync button on the light fixture. The light of the button will flash while synchronizing. The light will stop flashing once the device is synchronized to the Hub.
  3. On the Smartika Application; press on the “+” then press “look for devices” to find and add the device.
What happens if I press the Fixture Smartika button while the unit is operational and visible on the Smartika application?

It will flash for 2 minutes as it will try to sync with your hub or remote or Smart Phone device.

It should stop flashing after 2-minutes and no changes should occur.

What are known interferences or construction materials affect with Mesh Network?

What is the lifespan of the Impression fixture?

They have a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
